Queen is unleashing a previously unreleased track on Thursday (October 13) featuring the late Freddie Mercury.

The song is titled "Face It Alone," and currently, Queen's website features a countdown clock for the song. A brief preview clip was shared to the band's social media channels and can be heard below.

Brian May and Roger Taylor talked about the track back in June. At the time, they told BBC Radio 2 the track had a tentative September release date, but obviously, it's been pushed back. Taylor said, "We did find a little gem from Freddie that we'd kind of forgotten about. And it's wonderful. Actually, it was a real discovery. It's from [the recording sessions from 1989's] 'The Miracle'."

May added, "It was kind of hiding in plain sight. We looked at it many times and thought, 'Oh no, we can't really rescue that.' But in fact, we went in there again and our wonderful engineering team went, 'Okay, we can do this and this.' It's like stitching bits together. But it's beautiful. It's touching."
