City In Nevada One Of The Fastest Growing Areas In United States
A city in Nevada has undergone a population change in a pretty short amount of time, a study reports.
The Inspection Support Network recently conducted a study that analyzes data from the U.S. Census Bureau. According to the study, Nevada is one of the fastest growing states in the U.S. with a growth rate of 7.8% since 2016 to 2021.
If you’re a born-and-bred Nevada resident then you know about the real estate boom of the past decade. Our state is growing at a fast rate with one particular city experiencing a pretty robust population increase.
According to the study, Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise was the ninth fastest-growing metropolitan area in the United State. The study states that there was a 7.2% increase between 2016 and 2021 just in the Vegas Valley alone.
The total population change between the same time period of 2016-2021 was roughly over 153,000 residents.
Some of the other cities that had the fastest-growing populations include Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land in Texas, Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia in North Carolina, Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin in Tennessee, Raleigh-Cary in North Carolina, Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson in Indiana, Austin Area in Texas and Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford in Florida.
Out of the fastest-growing cities in the Unites States, Indianapolis is the only metro area that’s not located in the South or West, the data reports. It also seems that many people are migrating to Texas or Florida.
The data illustrates that Texas is home to four of the largest-growing cities and Florida is home to three.
It’s quite evident that the last two years have created drastic changes to our nation’s and world’s population with the covid-19 pandemic creating mass mortality and affecting migration patterns.
But, it looks like Las Vegas is still a hot destination for when it comes to relocating and moving! From our flourishing tech scene, recent land developments and no state income tax, Las Vegas is definitely the place to be.
