Japan Is Now Using Security Robots

In the original Day the Earth Stood Still, there was a robot named Gort.  An interplanetary organization created a police force of robots, and he was one of them.  It's now a thing on earth, especially in Tokyo.

They've deployed security robots inside government facilities and office buildings.  They're not very menacing.  They look like tall Roombas . . .  but you gotta start somewhere.
