A pet Emu escaped its enclosure at home and took a frightened run through the streets of South Boston.
Mallory the emu could be seen on CCTV video running through Boston and even running along side cars after her escape from home last week. Mallory's owner believes some sort of predator scared her enough to jump over her 6 foot tall enclosure.
Then the sounds of different trucks and vehicle horns kept her on the move through the city before finally getting cornered in a parking lot and taken back home. You can check out some of Mallory's adventures in the videos below.
The owners say that Mallory is shaken and tired with an injury to her leg, but it looks like she'll be OK.
