Police Respond to Reports of an Armed Man…Find Boba Fett

MBTA Transit Police responding to a call about an man armed with a rifle at a Boston subway terminal were relieved when they found who it was.

According to reports, multiple TPD responded to a report of a man armed with a long rifle.  When the officers arrived they found a person dressed up as Star Wars character Boba Fett. Boba Fett is a bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe and carries a multitude of weapons.

This Boba Fett however was armed with a replica weapon.

Officers talked to the cosplayer and determined that the scene was safe. The cosplayer was participating in the Anime Boston 3-day convention happening that weekend.
