Foo Fighters’ Mysterious Video Leads to New Music Speculations
Foo Fighters have their fans all worked up thanks to a video they shared today (April 12) on their social media channels.
The video in question is a short 13-second clip accompanied by audio that appears to be new music. The video’s visual is a blank white screen with a faint message in a light gray font that reads, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
This has led to a flurry of comments from fans speculating what the band might have in store. Some are wondering who is the drummer in the audio clip in light of the death of Taylor Hawkins over a year ago. Meanwhile, some fans think the band might be releasing previously unheard songs that feature Hawkins on drums. Other fans cheekily commented that the light gray font on a white background is making them think they need to get their eyes checked.
Regardless, the Foos will let us know what’s going on soon enough. After all, they’ll be back on the road starting May 24 with a mix of solo shows and headlining festival gigs. (A complete list of the Foos’ festival gigs can be viewed below.) However, it still hasn’t been announced who will be drumming for the band when they return to touring. Once again, time’s ticking, so we’ll all find out soon enough.
