Jackson County Sheriff's Officials were investigating what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle and ended up busting someone for meth possession.
JCSO were investigating a truck that was assumed to be abandoned. As the got closer to the vehicle they saw a person quickly get off the ground and jump in the driver’s seat.
The officers made contact with the man identified as Charlie Dowling. The officers brought in a K9 unit that allegedly alerted them to narcotics inside the vehicle.

They did a search and allegedly uncovered some meth under a red solo cup on the tailgate of the truck, along with a straw.
He was arrested on charges related to possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. No word on where Dowling got that pretty pearl necklace.
