A Pennsylvania woman has been accused of running prostitution services out of her hair salon.
Embellish Hair Cuts has been the target of a recent prostitution sting after locals reported noticing guys coming and going to the salon at all hours of the night. None of them getting their hair cut.
There were also some suspicious comments being posted about the salon on the internet.
The owner, Amy Zoblin, had allegedly been posting ads promoting sexual services on Craigslist.
After complaints and calls from local neighbors state troopers set up the sting. They reached out by texting the number and received a response detailing that her "services" would are $130 for 30 min. Trooper Tyler Parkes made an appointment for the next afternoon, went to the salon, paid Amy the money.
Then she closed the curtains, locked the door, and stripped down to a black spandex unitard, according to reports. She then allegedly negotiated the sexual offerings and asked him to get undressed. Thats when the trooper revealed he was a cop and arrested her.
Zoblin says she started offering prostitution services when her salon business slowed and she needed the money for bills and her sick daughters medical expenses.
