So, which boomtowns are, well, booming around America? GOBankingRates recently released a study with the biggest boomtowns in every state. To conduct the study, they looked at the “one-, five- and eight-year changes in population, occupied housing units and owner-occupied housing units of cities with a population of more than 25,000 but less than 500,000.”
Nevada Fastest-Growing Area
So, which Nevada town is the fastest-growing in the entire state? The answer is Enterprise. That area’s change in population in one year was 2.32%, five years was 69.39% and eight years was 84.90%. According to Niche.com, “Enterprise is a suburb of Las Vegas with a population of 219,566. Enterprise is in Clark County and is one of the best places to live in Nevada. Living in Enterprise offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Enterprise there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.” They add that, “Many families and young professionals live in Enterprise and residents tend to lean liberal.
