Britney Spears’ Fans Want Her Dogs Taken Away

Britney Spears has taken her bizarre dance videos to a new level with an introduction of a dangerous accessory: knives. Though the "Till The World Ends" singer claimed they are not real knives in her post, fans took to social media to express their concern for her puppies. While using audio from Enigma's "Principles of Lust: Sadness / Find Love / Sadeness (Reprise)," a song that she has filmed herself dancing to on previous occasions, Spears spins around and clangs the knives together.

At one point, three puppies enter the room. They flinch and run away after Spears hits the kitchen knives together, so it appears the knives are real from the sound they made in the clip. On top of that, there is a visible cut on her leg and a white bandage around her arm that people believe was caused by the butcher knives. When Spears initially posted the clip, she didn't write that the knives were fake.

On Twitter, one person wrote: "Even the dogs are concerned about the combo of her erratic dancing, the glazed look in her eyes and the knives." While another said, "I'm more sympathetic towards the three little dogs." Another wrote: "Someone save those poor little dogs." Spears, 41, posted a follow-up video using the same song, writing: "Lighten up about the knives I’m copying Shakira!!!" When Shakira recently performed at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards for her Vanguard Award, she danced with daggers before performing "Whenever, Wherever."

In gossip website TMZ's Hulu documentary Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom, it was reported she has had a longtime "fascination with knives" and even sleeps with them under her bed. The documentary claims that Spears lives "in mortal fear" that someone will come into her home in the middle of the night to take her to a psych ward.
