Ozzy Osbourne makes a surprise appearance in the teaser trailer for Pixar's Inside Out 2.
In the trailer below, we see all of our favorite emotions that live inside Riley's brain: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. However, a "construction crew" disrupts everything while Ozzy's "Crazy Train" soundtracks "demo day." After the crew leaves, the emotions discover they have a new control console that's orange. This leads to the introduction of a new emotion: Anxiety!
Inside Out 2 director Kelsey Mann says in a statement, "Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat. That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds."
Per Variety, Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black will be reprising the voice roles of Joy, Sadness and Anger, respectively. Due to reported salary disputes, Disgust, which Mindy Kaling originally voiced, will now be voiced by Liza Lapira. Additionally, Fear, which Bill Hader originally voiced, will now be voiced by Tony Hale.
Inside Out 2 is slated for release in Summer 2024.
Ozzy Osbourne and His Biggest Fan
You know who was likely the most excited to hear "Crazy Train" in the Inside Out 2 teaser trailer? Ozzy Osbourne's granddaughter!
Ozzy's son, Jack, recently shared an adorable video of his daughter, Maple, watching a performance of his on TV. Jack captioned the clip, "Maple thinks she's getting a private performance from Papa."
Even the coldest heart will melt just a bit over Maple yelling, "Papa! Papa!" at the TV.
In case you needed another cute clip of Maple, here's one of her lighting up upon hearing the intro to "Crazy Train." For even more added cuteness, she tries to sing along, too.
After you get thrown out of one of the most influential bands of all time, what do you do for an encore? Ozzy Osbourne was a misfit, an unusual vocalist, he didn’t play instruments or write songs in the conventional sense… so his former Black Sabbath bandmates probably didn’t see him as someone who would rival them for popularity. Surprise, surprise: Ozzy Osbourne’s long second act has been one of the most surprising and tumultuous in the history of rock and roll.
Sure, the bottom-feeding celebrity news machine loves him as a headline-generating lunatic, but the reason why we still care after all these years is the amazing discography Ozzy has amassed over the decades. Here are our 40 favorite Ozzy jams from 1980 on. As Ozzy prepares to wrap up an incredible career, we listened to everything, from the classic ‘Blizzard Of Ozz’ (every song made the list, except for Randy Rhoads’ solo guitar piece “Dee”) to the advance tracks released from ‘Ordinary Man.’
