Eater, a digital media brand dedicated to the world of food and dining, has recently unveiled its yearly compilation celebrating excellence nationwide. Within this culinary landscape, several spots in Vegas have earned a spot on the list, spanning categories from restaurants and bars to chefs and bartenders.

Best New Off-Strip Restaurant: Fine Company

One standout featured in Eater's awards is Fine Company which claims the title of Las Vegas' best new restaurant of the year. Located at 10970 Rosemary Park Drive, Suite 100, this establishment was highlighted by the website for its "breezy brunch focus." On their menu, one would find bourbon maple butter pancakes, a breakfast burger, apple pie, French toast, and other items.

Best New Bar: Liquid Diet

Another noteworthy addition to the Las Vegas scene is Liquid Diet, a newcomer that opened its doors in the Gateway District at 1415 S. Commerce St. Ste. 130 . Eater points out that Liquid Diet stands out for its "witchy décor and its two owner's unshakable obsession with making really good cocktails." Having dedicated almost two decades to perfecting a technique for extracting the clear, flavorful liquid from tomatoes, referred to as "tomato water," mixologist Patrick Mannion seamlessly incorporated it into a michelada, complete with a cilantro salt rim. As highlighted by Eater, this unique drink is characterized as tangy, salty, and almost sweet. The menu at Mannion's establishment undergoes nightly shifts, a dynamic transformation largely influenced by the creative whims of its owners, according to Eater.

Cantina Tequila: Vibes

Described by Eater as a neon-drenched haven for contemporary Mexican cuisine, Cantina Tequila in Henderson has a vibrant setting adorned with floral arrangements and disco balls. Set against the backdrop of '80s and '90s music, the restaurant offers Tijuana-style tacos featuring tender and juicy carne asada, charred octopus paired with vinegary corn salsa, and an oversized churro ice cream sundae. However, according to Eater, the true allure lies in the meticulously decorated atmosphere.
