Vincent Van Gogh alive and well... in AI?

Yes, Vincent Van Gogh, the most famous intriguing and mentally unstable painter of all time, is alive and well, in AI... in France.

Virtual Van Gogh Museum In Paris

There's a museum in Paris, that I can't pronounce or even spell, that has a “Hello Vincent” exhibit, openculture.com reports. When you visit it, you can kick it with the famous painter. You can even ask him questions, and he’ll answer.

Man, I’m all about this. I have so many questions...

“Yo Vincent, so when you got fired from your first job, exactly how did you tell your boss off? I need some tips.”

“When you took care of the prostitute and her child, you were hitting that, right?”

“What's the deal with dissecting so many corpses, Dahmer? You a serial killer or something? OH. Wait. Sorry, that's Da Vinci. Never mind.”

I know. I would of been kicked out before I could even ask a question.

But, hey I don't blame the museum for celebrating Van Gogh. Las Vegas celebrates him almost as much as we celebrate Elvis.

In fact, we have a really cool Van Gogh art exhibit called Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Las Vegas at the Lighthouse ArtSpace Las Vegas.  It's at the The Shops at Crystals next to the Aria on the Strip.

It's super cool. You can be immersed in Van Gogh's, art, mind and complete dysfunction.

Vincent Van Gogh... We'll Just Call Him "Eccentric"

Saying he was "messed up in the head" barely covers it.

Vincent Van Gogh was one of the most amazing and influential artists of all time. But he was also an incredibly tortured soul, (and I just had a meeting with my editor, so I can totally empathize).

Born into a super religious upper model class family in 1853, according to biography.com, Van Gogh began his life living under the scrutiny of super uptight people. And that's saying a lot because back then everyone seemingly had a stick up their as... uh, tushies.

Vincent wasn't a fan of his own family. With the exception of his brother, Theo. Who he remained close with throughout his life, according to biography.com. So, he said "deuces" and ditched the fam and took off for London. He took a gig at an art gallery. And off he went.

And when I say he went "off", I mean literally. Not just in paintings, either (although he did 900 paintings in 10 years... that's not normal). But he also "offed" his ear lobe. We all know the story, but probably not the "why" behind it.

He cut off his ear lobe over being a jerk to his friend. He literally punished himself because he was being mean. Talk about one messy kitty.

Van Gogh was also the epitome of starving artist. Yes, he made some money doing odd jobs, teacher, art dealer, and a lay preacher (whatever that is). But he never succeeded as an artist when he was alive. He sold only one painting in his entire life, according to biography.com.

One.

How Van Gogh Died

Van Gogh committed suicide at the age of 37. He shot himself in the chest. No one saw it or knows why. Although, I have my theories.

He was lonely because he never found love. He was broke because he was a “failure” in his craft. And brother was not right in the head.

Luckily for us, his sister-in-law was dedicated to making sure the world saw Van Gogh's work. And here we are now, hundreds of years later, being immersed in his art.

And with AI, we can converse with the man and ask him questions.

"Yo Vincent.. Have you seen Elvis, yet? Tell him I said hi."
