2 New Menu Items Coming To Taco Bell For Cheez-It Fans

They’ve been talking about it for quite some time and it’s finally happening. Taco Bell is finally adding new menu items for Cheez-It fans. In 2022, the fast-food chain teased the latest Cheez-It menu items. They did a test run of a Big Cheez-It Tostada and Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap in Irvine, California.

According to an Instagram post by food influencer @markie_devo, a Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap and Big Cheez-It Tostada will be available with early access for app users now until June 5 before becoming available nationwide on June 6 at all Taco Bell locations.

People were quick to respond to the post. "I’ve been waiting!!" one person said. Another mentioned how the items were once a rumor, saying, “Dang I remember seeing this being leaked like a year ago.”

Someone started a conversation about the new items on Reddit. While most people on the thread are excited about the latest items, some were quick to make modifications to the Tostada and Crunchwrap. “I just want the big cheez it with nothing on it,” someone said.

Another person said, “mehh i can live without it.. they should have made cheezit shell tacos instead or brought it to kfc and did cheezit fried chicken.” One person completely dismissed the Taco BellxCheez It combo altogether. “I like crunchwraps and love cheeze-itz, but the two didn't go well together,” they said.

Taco Bell confirmed the announcement with a TikTok post. The Big Cheez-It Tostada is a huge Cheez-It square topped with seasoned beef, diced tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream.  

Meanwhile, the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap is made with seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream. The tostada shell in the center of the Crunchwrap is replaced with a large Cheez-It.  

In addition to the new Cheez-It menu items, the food influencer Devo said that Taco Bell has plans to bring two new drinks to its menu in June. These include a Strawberry Limonada and a Vanilla Creme Limonada.

The Strawberry Limonada has a new Limonada lemonade-flavored freeze base mixed with a strawberry freeze base. The Vanilla Creme Limonada starts with that same Limonada lemonade-flavored freeze base that mixes in vanilla creamer instead of strawberry.  

Whether you’re down to try it or not, it will only be available for a limited time. The Cheez-It Tostada and Cheez-It Crunchwrap are only expected to be on the Taco Bell menu until July 17 or while supplies last.
