You have to apply to buy the new 2025 Mustang GTD? You cant’ just buy the car? The Simple answer is no.
Ford Mustang Gets Beefier
Unfortunately, the deadline for applying was May 20th. But not to fear, if you can take ownership of the car in Europe, and have an extra $350k (in dollars) lying around, well you can apply here.
The question is: Will this car be considered one of the sweetest Mustangs ever? Time will tell. But, it certainly looks like it will become the most expensive ever.
One of my favorite cars is the Ford Mustang. I've owned many, and I always had a place in my heart for the "pony of the road."
And I’m clearly not alone.
In 2018, Ford announced they were discontinuing production of passenger cars except for the Mustang, according to NBC.
Ever since the car was released in 1964, The Ford Mustang has been one of te most popular vehicles out on the road and in pop culture.
For instance, one of the Sweetest Ford Mustangs ever is the 1968 Bullitt. The car was named after the Movie “Bullitt” starring Steve McQueen. The famous car-chase scenes made this car incredibly badass. (Side note: That Charger it's chasing is pretty rad too).
The Mustang also made an impact in the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds." In the original, “Eleanor” was a pretty mean looking 1971 Mustang, redressed to look like the 1973 model, according to this luxury car dealership's website that specializes in classic and luxury cars.
But it wasn't until 2000 when the movie was remade, and a 1967 Ford Mustang depicted as a GT500 Mustang became “Elenore.” Who knew that name would be hot and sexy?
