National Hot Dog Day is here once again!

Every summer party has them, every ballpark, every movie theater, and today YOU should have one to celebrate.

National Hot Dog Day is the official holiday for the good old-fashioned wiener. A recent poll showed that most people have relatively classic tastes when it comes to toppings. 73% of Americans like mustard on hot dogs. Ketchup is next at 62%. Onions, relish, and chili all got at least 50%.

Today, Ball Park brand hot dogs is "celebrating freedom of expression" by challenging hot dog lovers to post their unique hot dog topping mashups for a chance to win $2,500, plus, "the ultimate backyard cookout."

To enter, post your hot dog-topping combos on TikTok using #HotDogHotTakes and tagging @BallParkBrand. Videos have to be 60 seconds or less, and the contest runs through August 17th.

Whether you prefer mustard, or ketchup, or some of the other weird toppings, today is the day to celebrate.

Hot Dog on a Stick: If you want a different take on the classic, Hot Dog on a Stick is offering their special menu item called The Charlie. It's a hot dog stuffed inside their Cheese on a Stick. By the way, If you have your dog with you, you get a free bag of Milk-Bone mini treats, and a bandanna, with a minimum purchase of $20. The offer is available until Aug. 11.
Shake Shack: In-store diners at Shake Shack can get a free hot dog with a minimum purchase of $1 at participating restaurants, with their app or website, for pickup or delivery. Use the code FREEHOTDOG to get your freebie.
Las Vegas' own, Steamie Weenie : $1.50 Hot Dogs, $2.50 Chilidogs all day long!
