Nevada is one of the top 5 most picturesque states for marriage proposals. Photo of a man taking a photo of two different couples on a rooftop bar at night near the Las Vegas Strip. Everyone is dressed in classy evening wear. The woman on the far left is wearing a brown sleeveless evening dress. The man to her right is wearing a black blazer and open collared dark patterned shirt. She has her arms wrapped around his waist while he holds a half-full champagne glass. The woman on the far right is wearing a navy blue, sleeveless evening dress. Her date is standing behind her. He is wearing a dark blazer. There is also a man seated at a table to the right of the two couples. All five people are smiling as the man with his back to us holds up a camera phone and snaps some photos. It is nighttime in Las Vegas. In the background you can see the lights and hotel buildings at Mandalay Bay Resort and the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

Incredible Sites For Picturesque Marriage Proposal Photos In Nevada

Sure, we live in a desert, so there is plenty of desolate terrain throughout Nevada. That drive from Las Vegas to Southern California or up to the Reno area can get pretty monotonous.

However, there are plenty of sites for picturesque marriage proposals in the Silver State too. The first that comes to mind is the “Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas” sign on the southern end of The Strip.

Plus, you have all the rooftop bars like the one in the photo on which to take romantic pictures, especially at night. The neon lights of Las Vegas can be mesmerizing.

But there are also numerous picturesque marriage proposal sites around Lake Tahoe, in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, up at Mt. Charleston, and in the Valley of Fire.

You’ve also got Lake Mead, the Fountains of Bellagio, fun Fremont Street, and Red Rock Canyon. I’m sure I’ve missed your favorite Nevada spot for picturesque marriage proposal photos.

Nevada Named 4th Best State For Picturesque Marriage Proposal Photos

Our home state claims one of the top five spots in a recent study of the most picturesque marriage proposal states in America. In fact, according to the online diamond engagement ring retailer Rare Carat, Nevada ranks fourth.

So, who beat us out? Their findings are based on the average number of Instagram posts featuring hashtags for popular engagement spots in each state.

The winner in this Rare Carat survey is New York. I guess it’s hard to beat all the great spots in The Big Apple. Sites like Central Park, Times Square, and the top of the Empire State Building come to mind. Plus, you have the American side of Niagara Falls in upstate New York to consider as well.

In second place, it’s Florida. Popular picturesque marriage proposal places include Walt Disney World, Key West, Clearwater Beach, and Wynwood Falls.

Ranking third, it’s our neighbors to the west in California. Remember, there’s a California side to Lake Tahoe too, and that’s one of the popular spots. Then there’s Disneyland, the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, and Yosemite National Park to find romantic spots for your engagement photo.

After Nevada in fourth place, rounding out the top five in this Rare Carat survey, it’s our neighbors to the south in Arizona. Of course, the Grand Canyon has several places for a fabulous photo. Other popular spots include Horseshow Bend, Lake Havasu, and Cathedral Rock.
