There has been a lot of bad news in Las Vegas lately, with regards to our pet community. Well here is a good news story, and a great event that you can share with your dog.

It's time to let the dogs out (insert 'woofs' here) for a POOL PARTY, that will be all their own! Well, actually, more like a pool 'PAW-TY!' The 'Dog Daze of Summer' event is back.

The Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility in Las Vegas, will host their annual doggie swim event, "Dog Daze of Summer," on Saturday, September 7, from 7am to 11am.

There will be open swimming for the doggies. Raffles a plenty, along with local dog-friendly, and dog loving businesses. They will be featuring their services, and products, and also be giving away lots of free stuff to take home.

Dog Daze Of Summer Rules And Session Times

First off, only dogs will be allowed in the pool. The event is limited to 100 dogs per session, and you must pre register. The cost is $7 per pooch. Registration will not be available on the day of the event, and owners have to show proof of their dog's vaccinations before being admitted to the event.

SCHEDULE:

Small dogs under 30 pounds will be allowed in the pool from 7am to 8am.
Medium dogs 30 to 65 pounds will be allowed in the pool from 8:30am to 9:30am.
Large dogs over 65 pounds will be allowed in the pool from 10am to 11am.

For faster entrance into the event, owners may submit proof of vaccination via email, along with liability waivers. Those may be sent to: DesertBreezeAquatics@ClarkCountyNV.gov before the day of the event.

Again, pre-registration is required, the cost is $7 per dog. Registration WILL NOT be available on the day of the event. 100 dogs per session, so definitely register early.
