Former Raiders quarterback, Derek Carr, has finally put his stunning Las Vegas property up for sale! It has officially hit the market, and while most of us will be appreciating the property on websites like Zillow (a man can dream, right?) the Las Vegas property, located in Southern Highlands, has been listed by Colwell Banker Premier Realty for nearly $9 million!

The luxury property was originally owned by Derek and his wife Heather Carr. According to a report by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the two purchased the Southern Highlands home when it was still under construction in 2019. Both Derek and Heather took their time to add personal touches throughout the house, transforming it into a high-end property with landscaped gardens and amenities fit for anyone who enjoys the finer things in life.

The house itself, spans a remarkable 8,628 square feet. I can’t even imagine what that monthly Nevada Power bill looks like to cool it during the summer!

According to LVRJ’s reporting, the house also features 5 bedrooms, each with suite style bathrooms and custom walk-in closets. Five full-sized bathrooms and two halves can also be found throughout the house. Also, if hosting guests is something that’s important to you, the property also has a 1,000 square foot casita that holds an additional 2 bedrooms and full bathrooms.

Whoever buys this home is going to have tons of space for fun and toys. Derek’s former house also has an 8-car garage, a sports area, an outdoor BBQ, and two pools. One of the pools even has a slide and waterfall included.

Finally, according to the Review-Journal’s article, all new owners have the option to a membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club.

Also, "between 1984 and 2012, male boxers were required to wear protective headgear, but the rule was abandoned for the 2016 Rio Games," although "female boxers are still required to wear head guards." In Olympic boxing, each bout is disputed in three rounds of three minutes each for men and four rounds of two minutes each for ladies. After each round, each of the judges picks a winner based on the judging criteria. The winner of that round gets 10 points. The loser can get between seven to nine points, depending on their performance level. At the end of all the rounds, the judges do the math to see who won.

Irish professional boxer Katie Taylor was an Olympic gold medalist and went pro in 2016. She has beaten everyone from Jessica McCaskill to Victoria Bustos to Eva Wahlstrom. Her next fight is to be determined. She's the undisputed lightweight champion and undisputed super lightweight champion.

This Flint, Michigan, native is arguably the greatest female boxer of today. She's the middleweight undisputed champion. Shields is also the only boxer, male or female, to hold all four major world titles, WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO, at the same time in two weight classes. The two-time Olympic gold medalist is moving up two weight classes to challenge women's WBC heavyweight champion Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse in July at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
