Las Vegas Chicken Wings Spot Gets the Food Network’s Attention
Chicken wings are a beloved American food, and now we have bragging rights in this state, as one Las Vegas spot has been named one of the best in America for chicken wings by the experts at the Food Network. I think it’s pretty great that the state is being honored for having tasty chicken wings, because it just shows how we have some of the best restaurants in the country. So, if you love chicken wings, get ready to dig in.
Las Vegas Spot Named Best for Chicken Wings via the Food Network
The experts at the Food Network have a new feature out about the best chicken wings in America. “Whether you like them spicy, sweet or both, here’s where to get the best wings from coast to coast,” they state. Also, if you’re wondering what exactly is the official definition of a chicken wing, the “basic idea” is “a fried and sauced spicy chicken wing,” according to Vox. They are, of course, a favorite dish to snack on during football games and sporting events or at the bar. They’re also a popular appetizer.
The Food Network really loves one particular Las Vegas restaurant: Spago, located at 3600 S Las Vegas Boulevard. As for what wings are amazing there, they suggest trying General Tso’s Wings, even though they’re all delicious. “Everyone loves a secret, off-menu dish; here, it’s these wings,” they state. “The new Spago, fountainside at the Bellagio, offers countertop dining and a chance to try the juicy wings that are tossed in a sweet and spicy garlic sauce before they are dished out with cilantro and scallions.” I’m happy to see such a popular Las Vegas spot make the tally, because the Food Network only highlighted a handful of places across America.
Some other popular spots listed on the tally include Bourbon Barrel Peach Wings at Ladybird in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Jerk Wings at Grey Ghost in downtown Detroit, Michigan. As for Ladybird, “The wings are first covered in their own house chicken rub with flavors of brown sugar, garlic and paprika, before they are put into the smoker with oak and cherry woods,” the Food Network writes. For Grey Ghost, they say that if you are a fan of Caribbean food, you’ll love the jerk wings. They also named the Caramel Chicken Wings at Flowers of Vietnam in Detroit a choice spot to get your wing on.
