Kelsey Plum has been an essential player for our Las Vegas Aces, but her journey to becoming one of the top stars didn't happen overnight.

The WNBA has been one of growth. When she was drafted as the first overall pick by the San Antonio Stars in 2017, her initial contract was just $50,000. This is a very modest start just like most of the women in the WNBA. It's very different today. Today, in 2024, Plum's base salary is $234,936, making her one of the highest paid players in the league. Over the years Kelsey has built an impressive net worth, estimated at about $2 million. The net worth is just a reflection of her career, brand deals, and getting great contracts because of her gameplay.

Kelsey Plum's value to the Las Vegas Aces is more than just her ability to play the game of basketball at a high level her leadership and passion for the team make her a success. Watching her transform from a rookie into an inspiring woman in the league is pretty damn awesome. It's an inspiration to girls everywhere who have a dream of playing in the WNBA. Dedication and hard work lead to success in the league.

Today, the Las Vegas Aces face a crucial test in the second round of the WNBA playoffs as they go up against the New York Liberty. The Liberty, coming in as the #1 seed, has been dominant all season, but the #4 seed Aces are not ones to back down from a challenge. With Kelsey Plum, A'ja Wilson, and the rest of the Aces' talented roster, they're poised to give the Liberty a run for their money. It's going to be an exciting game, the intensity will be there for our Aces and we know their grit.

As the Aces step onto the court, all eyes are on them to pull off an upset. Go Aces! Hopefully, soon we have an NBA team here in Las Vegas that is as successful as our Aces have been.
