There's a new "sexy" AI robot companion available for only $175K! It was made by Realbotix and she goes by the name Melody.

Melody is unlike any other doll you might have seen before. She's not your normal sex doll, that's for sure. Melody was introduced at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show and is set to be the future of human/robot relations. They say that the busty bot was created to help tackle loneliness that society is going through since the pandemic, essentially. She's supposed to be the next step in making robots appear more human-like and focuses on social intelligence, customizability, and realistic human features. Could this be for you?

Meet Melody The 'Sexy' AI Robot Companion

According to The New York Post, the sexy cybernetic companion can be yours for $175,000. She was one of several humanoid robots that were on display at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Realbotix CEO Andrew Kiguel told Forbes that Melody was created in line with efforts to make robots indistinguishable from humans and it seems like Melody is as close as you can get!

She is said to have a variety of realistic movements and actions such as maintaining eye contact, per The New York Post. It's very realistic and can't help but bring comparisons to that scary movie M3gan where the robot comes to life and isn't very nice. It's also been described as something out of the hit TV show, "Black Mirror."

How does it all work? The New York Post says that Melody's functionality and adaptability is made possible by infusing the machine with a combination of open-source AI and advanced motor technology. Despite being life-sized, she's supposed to be very portable so if you're looking to bring her places without causing a scene you should be able to. Kiguel tells The New York Post, "Melody was created with the intention of having robots that are easy to travel with and modify for various forms of personal interaction. We're taking it to a different level that nobody else is really doing. It can be like a romantic partner. It remembers who you are. It can act as a boyfriend or girlfriend. If you ever saw that movie Her, we're trying to do that."

It should be noted that this is more for the girlfriend/boyfriend experience and isn't necessarily designed for sex. That isn't its prime directive. She's more for engagement and entertainment and building human connection than it is for being a sex object. Best look elsewhere for that.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
