Malcolm Young was born on January 6, 1953.

The iconic rhythm guitarist remains one of the most influential figures in rock as the backbone and creative driving force behind AC/DC. When he passed away in November 2017 due to dementia, a number of tributes cropped up including a couple of murals in Melbourne, Australia.

The Malcolm Young murals are can be found on AC/DC Lane. It's a narrow roadway within Melbourne's central business district. Each mural is based on popular photographs of Young. One is a close-up portrait, and the other showing Young with a guitar.
