During Sunday night's (February 5) Grammys, Madonna took the stage to introduce Kim Petras and Sam Smith for their "Unholy" musical performance. Fans were quick to notice the pop icon's look -- more specifically her face. The singer wore her hair back in braided ponytails and bleached eyebrows. She wore a black blazer dress over a white collared shirt and tie paired with a maxi skirt with fishnet tights and purple platform heels.

“Here’s what I’ve learned after four decades in music,” Madonna began in her speech. “If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative or dangerous, you’re definitely onto something.” She then thanked all of her fellow “rebels” for “forging a new path and taking the heat for all of it.”

One person tweeted, "Plastic face Madonna needs an exorcism." Another fan tweeted, “Me attempting to ignore the fact that Madonna has a whole new face. #GRAMMYs,” along with a video of Adele looking lost and judge-y at a basketball game. "Some have a very difficult time dealing with the aging process," wrote another fan. "She looks unrecognizable. 60+yo & lots of cosmetic surgeries. Sorry but, Natural beauty & a good face moisturizer is the best way to treat yourself."

Another wrote, "I really wish Madonna never touched her face. There really was no reason. She was going to age beautifully. She's always been beautiful." Meanwhile, another person wrote, "Madonna bravely presents award show despite [allergic] reaction to a wasp sting on the face." Another said, "Madonna can’t see it. It’s filler fatigue. People get so used to their face they no longer see it’s different, so they continue to get more." One fan posted a photo of the singer and said, "@Madonna at the Grammys, last night, looking different in real life compared to the pics she post of herself. My oh my! She’s destroyed her face." One fan wrote, "I’m all for cosmetic surgery but @Madonna should have left her face alone after her last lift. Her hair, makeup & eyebrows make her only look worse. The mother of reinvention needs an intervention. And yes, I’ll be paying 1,300 to see her at MSG this summer."

As we've reported on numerous occasions, fans on social media constantly criticize Madonna's cosmetic surgeries on her face and body. In November, fans thought the singer looked "unrecognizable" on TikTok.
