Metallica Tapped As Headliners For Sick New World 2025
Metallica is coming back to Las Vegas to headline Sick New World 2025. It’s all we know about the popular Vegas festival right now.
The festival, itself, hasn’t even announced its official return but we already know that Metallica will be headlining Sick New World 2025. We don’t know any other bands in the lineup, but having the best metal band currently touring involved is a big deal.
Metallica Headlining Sick New World 2025
Metallica recently announced a new leg of their massive M72 World Tour and that leg will kick off with the band headlining Sick New World 2025 on April 12th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, per Review Journal. Meanwhile, the festival will be back for year three and it’s getting a lot of hype. Sick New World 2024 featured artists like System of a Down, Slipknot, Danny Elfman, Bring Me the Horizon, and more. Now, having Metallica headline next year will certainly draw a crowd for 2025.
Metallica most recently played Vegas in February of 2022 when they sold out Allegiant Stadium–making it the city’s biggest ever metal show, per Review Journal. Prior to that, the band played T-Mobile Arena in 2018 and set the attendance record at that time. Clearly, Sin City loves some Metallica. Sick New World is already successful enough and sold out this past April with tens of thousands of fans coming out to support the dozens of bands on the lineup playing across five stages.
So, who else will be playing in 2025? There’s still no word but once bands hear that Metallica has already signed up you can bet that they are going to want to be seen on that lineup along with them. I’m expecting Sick New World 2025 to be the best and biggest yet. Hopefully we’ll learn more about the rest of the lineup soon.
Metallica Will Headline Sick New World 2025
The newest leg of Metallica’s M72 World Tour features seven cities that will have a “No Repeat Weekend” show with two concerts with two totally different sets and no repeats. That’s awesome if you plan on going to both shows in these sets as you won’t be sitting through the same set twice, that’s always a bummer. Those cities include: Toronto, Nashville, Columbus, Philadelphia, Tampa, Santa Clara, and Denver. As for the one night only stops on the new leg, those will include cities like: Vegas, Syracuse, Blacksburg, Landover, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Houston.
