New Whole Foods To Open In Summerlin, Nevada
You heard right, the Whole Foods franchise is expanding west in Las Vegas. Where is this new shopping outlet going to be? You may have guessed it, near Downtown Summerlin the upscale outdoor shopping mall. The new building will sit on 48,000 square feet and on the corner of Sahara and Town Center Dr. according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. The building sits on the back of Spruce Goose and Sahara where Clark County Fire Station No. 28 operates.
Whole Foods Open Date And Updates
An open date has not been disclosed just yet. When one thing closes another thing opens, usually. In this case, the Whole Foods on W Charleston will be closing, states the Review Journal. As it may be sad, the new location will be a lot bigger with more glamorous features. The article share how the new building will offer three restaurants and a huge Starbucks.
With more shopping also means more traffic. Good luck navigating up Sahara. We may be taking Charleston up and cutting across Town Center.
The Whole Foods is currently under construction but we are hoping that the builders factor in a good size parking lot. Vegas gets spoiled by having parking lots compared to it’s sister state of California who doesn’t know what those are.
Vegas Continues To Grow
Las Vegas continues to grow in every direction of the Valley. Each year the city looks more and more different. New hotels, restaurants, grocery stores and housing developments. The Tanager apartment residents will really benefit by having another grocery store within walking distance of their home. Currently, Trader Joes can be shopped at inside Downtown Summerlin.
Our once little town is turning into a major player amongst the biggest cities. We hope traffic doesn’t get too out of hand, as it’s nice to able to get anywhere in the city within 25-30 minutes.
