It's another holiday weekend: Labor Day in Las Vegas!

It's the week where we acknowledge the summer season is coming to a close, and soon people will start to feel the crisp autumn air cover the valley.

Every holiday weekend, Vegas ranks high on the "most visited" destinations in America. For this Labor Day, the most popular destinations include Seattle, Orlando, Anchorage, New York and Las Vegas, according to American Automobile Association.

So, if you plan to drive out to Las Vegas if you're from California, Utah, Arizona, etc. then be prepared to have some sort of relief. According to AAA, gas prices will be similar to last year. But, there are some concerns with gas prices rising due to hurricane season and the holiday weekend approaching.

Along with this expected number of tourists -- which our economy appreciates -- there will be some more congestion on the highway, especially if you're driving from Southern California.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, next Thursday around 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., drivers can expect the roads to be busier. The article states that Interstate 5 between Los Angeles and Bakersfield will be 88% higher than normal.

Labor Day weekend will see a plethora of amazing concerts and shows with marquees across the city sparkling with major names like Lady Gaga, Weezer, Erika Jayne, Jelly Roll, Jeff Dunham, Drake, Counting Crows, the B-52s and more -- just to name a few.

To sprinkle on this weekend of Las Vegas fun, the pool parties and night clubs will certainly be busy and fun with the expected number of tourists pouring in to Sin City. There will be free shows on Fremont, tons of immersive experiences and great gastronomic adventures with a wide variety of restaurants.

Plus, what's a Las Vegas vacation without trying your luck? Maybe for this Labor Day weekend, you can indulge into a thrilling gaming experience.

As Labor Day weekend approaches, our city offers a kaleidoscope of different experiences. If you're a local or a out-of-town visitor get ready, pack your bags and let's celebrate this 2023's Labor Day weekend.

Scroll down below for a list of activities and experiences that you can check out for this upcoming Labor Day.

Have A Drink In The Sky, Literally

Liftoff is one of Area 15's newest attractions. Have you ever wanted to enjoy a cocktail while being suspended 100 feet in the air? Well, Liftoff will take people on an almost "open-air balloon ride." It's like a carnival ride, but it doesn't go fast. The main element of this attraction is that it takes you about 130 feet up into the air. You can enjoy drinks while soaking up the beautiful Las Vegas panoramic view.

Enjoy A Comedy Night At Bonkerz Comedy

Kick off the long weekend with a comedy show at Bonkerz Comedy Club - Henderson located in the Backyard on Water Street. Mike Charette will be headlining along with support from local comedian Josh Giordano. Charette has been seen on Amazon’s Laugh After Dark, The Lowdown and more. This will be a great show with side-splitting comedy to celebrate the upcoming holiday weekend.

Have A Karaoke Party With Your Friends

There are tons of fun karaoke bars. But one of our personal favorites is the Moonlight Karaoke Lounge in Henderson. The décor on the inside is futuristic and fun. The vibes are immaculate, and they offer private rooms for parties and guests. It's a great way to spend a weekend night if you're not looking to go out clubbing, of it you're fatigued of the Strip. Moonlight Karaoke is located at 4500 Sunset Rd #42, Henderson, NV 89014.

Encore Beach Club - Party Galore

Encore Beach Club is a staple when it comes to day and night parties. Dom Dolla, Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Diplo are just a few DJs that plan to play at EBC during Labor Day weekend. Will this be pricey? Probably. But will it be worth it? Oh yes.

Party With Pauly D At Marquee

Marquee is another fun spot that is renowned by many. From the electric atmosphere of the day club to the sultry vibes of the nightclub and secret speakeasy called the "Library," attendees will have a guaranteed good time at Marquee.

Ayu Dayclub and Zouk Nightclub

Ayu Dayclub and Zouk Nightclub are two of the newest properties on The Strip. For Labor Day weekend, many people will attend these two venues, making it a guaranteed good time. From DJ Snake, Zedd and G-Eazy, these two venues will be packed with people and celebrity DJs.

Wet Republic: Hang Out At The OG Party Spot

Since opening its doors in 2008, Wet Republic is a favorite among many people who visit or live in Las Vegas. The Hakkasan properties are always a good time. But there's something nostalgic and traditional about Wet Republic's vibe. It reminds us of Las Vegas' glory days before the Strip went more toward a family friendly direction.

Can't Decided Where To Party? We Have Your Solution

From the clubs listed above to even Daylight, LIQUID Pool Lounge and so much more, it can be overwhelming to narrow down which day parties and nightclubs you want to hit. Well, we have a solution to your problem. The Labor Day Weekend Las Vegas Pool Crawl will give you all the VIP perks at a relatively affordable cost. This package includes express entry to the venues on the lineup -- which includes two day clubs and one bar. There's also a party bus ride to the venues and drink specials! This is an amazing way to see different clubs, and the energy is always fun.

See Young The Giant For Free On Fremont Street

This Labor Day weekend's Downtown Rocks concert will be featuring Young The Giant! This is a stellar band, and their concert is sure to not disappoint. What's even better is that this concert is free to attend! The band will be performing on Sept. 2 at the Third Street Stage. To top this off, drinks on Fremont are relatively affordable compared to The Strip's drink prices.

Labor Day Food and Artisan Festival - Something More Family Friendly

On Monday, Sept. 4, there will be a Labor Day Food and Artisan Festival The Retreat on Charleston Peak located at 2755 Kyle Canyon Road, Las Vegas, NV 89124. There will be local vendors, a beer garden, entertainment for the kids, crafts food trucks and more. This is definitely geared toward families or those who simply don't want to participate in parties or clubs.

Prowl Around For Deals On Shows

Sometimes, venues will push for last-minute promotions with ticket deals or bundle packages. Check out this page from Vegas.com that lists affordable shows that are around $50. From the staple Las Vegas magicians or the beloved Cirque du Soleil shows, you will definitely be able to find a show or two that sparks your interest. There's also concerts and other immersive experiences that are periodically listed on this website.

Marriage Can Be Murder - Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

We love attending Marriage Can Be Murder, which is a exciting immersive experience that can be described as one of the funniest "dinner and a show" set-ups in the city. According to the event's website, "The award-winning Marriage Can Be Murder experience slays audiences with a dash of intrigue, mixed in shenanigans, and to top off the wacky evening, a suspect hiding among the guests." If you're in the city for this holiday weekend, this is a unique experience that we can't recommend enough.

Exodus Festival Las Vegas - Attend a Techno Festival

The Exodus Festival is a long-running EDM festival with tons of celebrity DJs, a plethora of parties and after parties and so much more. This festival is for the EDM, techno, house and electronic music lovers. It's not too late to buy passes for the Exodus Festival, which is featuring artists like Loud Luxury, Tyga, Steve Aoki and so much more.
