AEW President Tony Khan Excited To Bring ‘Double Or Nothing’ Home To Las Vegas
AEW President Tony Khan is excited to bring the famous “Double or Nothing” wrestling event back to Las Vegas, he said during an interview.
Tony Khan is the founder, owner and president of All Elite Wrestling, he’s also the chief football strategy officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League and son of team owner Shad Khan. And if you saw the NFL Draft, he’s now wearing a neck brace. Why? How? What’s going on?
It’s a little surreal, so bear with us. As seen on AEW Dynamite on TBS, Khan was attacked in the middle of the ring by AEW EVPs The Young Bucks, Okada, and controversial pro wrestler Jack Perry, son of the late actor Luke Perry. Khan suffered a major injury to his neck. But instead of treating this injury and laying in a hospital bed, Khan was in Jacksonville’s NFL Draft war room the very next day… in a NECK BRACE, as seen by millions on TV. Crazy, right?
If that’s not enough, Khan was gracious enough, during his recovery, to make time to speak to X107.5’s Pauly Kover, who is no stranger to being attacked by a wrestler and wearing a neck brace to work (see video here). The two speak about the vicious attack, the fallout, and AEW coming back to Las Vegas in just a few weeks. Take a listen.

All Elite Wrestling is coming back to Las Vegas for two huge events — AEW Collision, Saturday, May 25th and AEW Double Or Nothing, Sunday, May 26. “Double or Nothing” is a Las Vegas wrestling staple. The first “Double or Nothing” event that took place was the fastest-selling wrestling event in Las Vegas, Khan said.
