There’s something vibrant and exciting about being in a city with great nightlife. Now, Las Vegas has been named the No. 2 best city in America for a lively entertainment scene, according to experts. Who doesn’t like the feeling that something is always happening, no matter the hour? So, if you’re looking for a place to head to at night and party into the early morning hours, here’s why Las Vegas is the spot.

The experts at VacationCluster.com have put together a list of the best cities in America for a great, fun nightlife scene. “From one end of the country to the other, USA has places where you can definitely enjoy a great night with food, drinks and dancing and a lot more,” they state.
Before we get to Vegas and its lively entertainment scene, it’s worth noting that a different city got ranked No. 1 in the nation for the best nightlife? That city is Miami Beach. It’s not a surprise that Miami Beach made the cut, because it’s known for it’s vibrant nightlife. But, it’s pretty cool to see this city above places like New York City and Los Angeles. “When it comes to night life, this place has some of the world’s best club scenes with full of well-dressed boys and girls,” VacationCluster.com states. But, they add that, “you need to dress well and have a lot of money in order to have a respectful entry.”
Just below Miami Beach at No. 2 is our beloved Las Vegas, Nevada. I’ve always thought of Las Vegas as the city that’s up all night and partying constantly, so it makes sense that it would be so high on the list. I’m surprised it’s not No. 1 for a lively entertainment scene, though. The site notes that Las Vegas isn’t just about gambling anymore. There are all kinds of things to do in the city, from theater shows to concerts to dancing and night clubs. “If you’re lucky, you might even bump into a celebrity playing cards on your table or enjoying a drink at the bar,” they note. Also making the top five on the tally were New York City at No. 3, New Orleans at No. 4 and Chicago at No. 5. I was just in Chicago a few weeks ago, and it definitely has a vibrant night scene.
