Ghost’s 2025 World Tour Will Be a ‘Phone-Free Experience’
Ghost announced yesterday (October 28) dates for their 2025 world tour, and these shows will provide a unique experience for fans and other members of the clergy.
In the graphics announcing the tour, eagle-eyed fans noticed that in fine print below the list of show dates, it reads, “This show will be a phone-free experience. Phones will be secured in Yondr pouches. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times.”
Yondr pouches and other cell phone locking devices have grown in popularity in recent years, with musicians and comedians using them to provide for a distraction-free experience at shows. For comedians specifically, these pouches prevent audience members from filming shows and releasing new material online.
School districts have been using them, too. Per NBC News, “In the past eight years, school districts in 41 states have spent $2.5 million to buy pouches from Yondr, according to Govspend, a database of government contracts and purchases. Most of the spending has occurred since May 2022, according to Govspend, as concern has grown over phones in schools and the effects of smartphone use on children.”
As for Ghost, tickets for their 2025 world toud dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m. local time. Complete ticket details, including presale information, can be found at Ghost-Official.com.
