David Lee Roth’s Latest Comments on Sammy Hagar are Weird Even for Diamond Dave
David Lee Roth shared some rather interesting comments about Sammy Hagar via his YouTube channel.
As Diamond Dave is wont to do, he went on a lengthy stream of consciousness about Hagar. It involved the Red Rocker’s story of allegedly being abducted by aliens and his knack for talking about DLR in the press. Roth thinks Hagar can’t stop talking about him in interviews because he was “sex probed” during his alleged abduction.
Roth equates Hagar potentially being probed to jamming half a popsicle into a cassette tape player and removing said popsicle from the player, thus, forever altering it.
” … That tape player will never play the same again, no matter how carefully you try and fix those delicate little parts,” said DLR. “And it’ll get worse and it’ll seem like the singer that you used to [be] will stop making sense whatsoever, a lot like Sam.”
The Red Rocker’s (Alleged) Alien Abduction
If you thought Roth’s comments were weird, let’s look back on Hagar recounting the tale of him being abducted by aliens.
In September 2021, Hagar spoke with Mystery Wire and was asked about his alien encounter claim. He says the incident happened in the mid-’60s and staunchly says it “100% happened.”
Hagar said it felt like someone was tapping into his mind. He recalled seeing an object with two creatures in it. Then, he says these creatures said, “Oh, he’s waking up,” yelled out a foreign numerical code and felt an electrical charge leaving his body.
Next thing he knew, Hagar woke up in his bed, and his bedroom was “infinity white.” He claims he was “completely paralyzed,” then suddenly, everything went black. Once that happened, Hagar said he broke out in a sweat, was shaking and felt physically drained.
Hagar doesn’t think these aliens were trying to harm him. Instead, he thought, “I think they were just interested like, you know, we do with animals. So they had advanced technology, they were sucking my brain to see what I knew.”
