And just like that, the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con comes to a close! The three day action-packed weekend was filled with iconic characters, official meet-n-greets, up-close and personal panels, fan meet-ups, giveaways, collectable merchandise stands, eye-catching stage performances and more.

The Las Vegas Con opened on Friday at 10 a.m. and went through Sunday till 6:00 p.m. Single day and three day passes were available for purchase. Our digital guru, Gianni G, landed a media pass to get the inside scoop. And if convention attendees still wanted more “Comic Con action” they had the chance to party late late night in Downtown Las Vegas. Friday, April 29, was the inaugural official after party held at super cool The Nerd bar on Freemont Street. A $3,000 cash prize was at stake for the best cosplay costume. Talk about exciting!

The weekend presented itself with many opportunities for fans to divulge into their favorite things.

Some weekend highlights included:

Voice actor and writer, Mark Whitten and voice actor, Griffen Burns talk Demon Slayer and so much more on the main stage. Whitten voices Rengoku and Burns voices Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer.

Puppeteer, Tamara Carlson Woodard, hosted a really fun Star Wars Storytime. Star Wars fans were able to hear a story from the iconic puppet operator and then were given a chance to meet her afterwards.

Veronica Taylor, original voice actress for Ash Ketchum, attended a How To Play Pokémon panel. Attendees were able to meet Taylor and learn how to play the classic card game.

Many featured talents were there including:

James Tynion IV, Batman Franchise for DC Comics

Kevin Eastman, Co-creator, artist and writer of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 

The convention spaced featured many collectible and prized collectibles including: Autographed art-work, Funko Pops, Squishmallows, Scentsys, DC Multiverse figures, comic books, bags that look like food and more!
