Cheers, here’s to another 14 years of Dave and Mahoney. Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the laughs, cries and painful moments that Dave and Mahoney have caused.
D and M came together in 2009, to create one of the BEST morning shows in Las Vegas. From their witty commentary, reciprocal friendship and Vegas based connection it was knowingly the perfect formation for a radio show to ever exist. Okay, that may be a little “extreme” but a really really good show.
As much as we love Mahoney’s burps and Dave’s dry commentary, the show was missing a little southern flare. That’s where Alabama radio talent, Audrey Drake filled in the gaps! She joined the show in 2018 and the three have been inseparable ever since. This wasn’t the end to the D&M family additions. During the pandemic, producer Jordan joined the show to help create many unforgettable moments.
The Dave and Mahoney Morning Show are an integral part of the Vegas market. We can’t get enough of their Beer for Breakfast podcast where they talk, laugh and drink beer. The best part is that you never know what is going to happen on each episode. The podcast highlights new brews, local breweries and wild stories that come from drinking cold brewskes. We can already hear Mahoney’s intro “WELL, ALRIGHT THEN FRIENDS.”
Let’s talk about “Tipsy or Toddler.” This segment will forever be a listener favorite. The attempts to understand the audio will make anyone laugh.
The show has hosted many concerts including X’s inaugural events: OBC – Our Big Concert and Holiday HavocĀ
We can’t forget all of the charitable events that the show has partaken in including clothing drives, raising funds for cancer, food drives and more.
Vegas wouldn’t be the same without them. With good times also comes bad times. Dave and Mahoney broke up with us in 2015 to go to Texas and the pain was real. But as they say, true love always come back and in 2017, the show returned home.
We celebrated the D and M’s 14 Anniversary at Big Dog’s Brewing Company on Saturday, April 22. And like any Dave and Mahoney event, you (our dedicated listeners) showed up ready to drink and mingle.
