A recent study has revealed that your portable water bottle might contain more bacteria than a toilet seat if not cleaned properly. Researchers took samples from the lid, the spout and the straws and found some contained more than 40,000 times more bacteria than an average toilet seat. If you haven’t cleaned your water bottle in a while, it might be time!
