A source tells ET Tuesday (June 6) that the couple is "doing so much better". Addressing the "bit of drama" surrounding the pair's rumored breakup in February, the source says their relationship is on the mend.
"They have been working on having very healthy and fluid communication. They have also been seeking therapy, which has helped save their relationship," the source tells the publication. "They have learned that communication is key, and honesty and trust are the key pillars to any relationship." The source adds that MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, "has been making a huge effort and is doing everything in his power to ensure their relationship is in a good place and that Megan is happy."
As for their engagement, that is also "a work in progress at this time, but they are both confident that they will be together forever," the source adds. MGK, 33, proposed to Fox, 37, in January 2022. The insider says the couple aims to have a "happy, honest, loving, passionate relationship that they are both committed to."

Last month, a source told People they "were wedding planning, but not anymore." They added, "They don’t have a wedding date. Megan still seems hesitant. She has just put so much time into their relationship. It’s hard for her to let go."
Meant To Be
As we previously reported in April, a source close to the couple said, "Megan and MGK are going much better and taking things day by day. They feel like they are ultimately meant to be together, and they are working towards that goal. They believe they are soulmates and hope to build up their trust, honesty, and everlasting commitment to each other."
Since the split speculation, they've been spotted vacationing together, and MGK called Fox's Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover "hot," while supporting her at the publication's launch event. However, the pair did not walk the red carpet together. Last week, the duo was spotted holding hands in London after leaving the unveiling of MGK's 8th Deadly Sin ring collection.
