Kanye Gearing Up For Solo Album: Report
Kanye is reportedly in the studio working on a new album, according to a source from TMZ. The gossip site alleges that the rapper is “truly great headspace” and is back to creating music. The source says that the rapper has already created ten songs this week in preparation for a new project.
R&B singer Ty Dolla $ign has also been in the studio with Ye recently, TMZ reports. So, it’s possible they could be working together on Kanye’s new project. Or, it’s possible that will create a joint project sometime in the future. Ty Dolla $ign worked with Kanye on “Ego Death” and “Track 6” in 2020, “All Mine” in 2018. They worked together on “Guard Down” in 2015.
Kanye West Album Leaks
Kanye has had some bad luck the last two weeks with not just one but two different projects of his being leaked to the internet. Naturally, the songs have been shared all across social media and the rapper has not spoken out about it. Last week, his visual album Donda: With Child circulated. The visual album is 35 minutes long, and is believed to have been mostly shot at his Wyoming ranch. The rumored tracklist featured guest appearances from Pusha T, Big Sean, Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, The Sunday Service Choir, and more.
This week, the sequel to Jesus Is King leaked, which is a collab album with Dr. Dre. Jesus Is King II contains guest appearances from Eminem, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Anderson .Paak, A$AP Ferg and Marsha Ambrosius. Dr. Dre and Anderson .Paak are on “Closed On Sunday,” Travis Scott on “Hands On” and Eminem on “Use This Gospel,” according to HipHopDX. The new tracks on the album are “Glory” featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, “Blood of the Lamb” with Pusha T, “L.A. Monster” with A$AP Ferg, and “Our King” with Dre and 2 Chainz. Kanye also reportedly has new verses on the project.
