Thrilling and Chilling Fun: Check Out These Haunted ATV Rides In Las Vegas

We’ve heard of haunted houses. But, have you heard about haunted ATV rides?

Best ATV Tours Las Vegas are starting up their haunted ATV rides for this upcoming Halloween season, and they will continue all throughout October!

This experience will allow ATV riders to go on a thrilling and chilling experience right in the Mojave Desert. Expect to encounter ghosts, monsters, possibly a demon, and maybe even a chainsaw-wielding man. But instead of walking through your traditional “haunt,” you’ll be gliding through the “haunted” desert on an ATV. Be prepared for some adrenaline and screams!

The Dirty Ridin’ Details

Haunted ATV rides will be available for bookings from Oct. 1 – Oct. 31, according to Best ATV tours Las Vegas. The rides start at 5:30 p.m. daily, and the Luxor Hotel & Casino will be the pick-up and drop-off location. The entire experience is about three hours including the transportation and one hour ATV ride. All guests must take the shuttle from the Luxor Hotel & Casino (no driving to the ATV spot), and all guests must be 18+ with a valid ID.

Plus, if you get through the haunted tour then you’ll get an “I survived the Haunted Desert ATV Tour” shirt with purchase.

What To Wear

You must wear closed-toe shoes! Do not wear flip-flops, water shoes or water socks. Also, Best ATV Tours Las Vegas says you CAN wear Crocs, but it’s not a preferred shoe. So, it’s probably your best bet to just stick with athletic shoes. Also, be sure to wear long pants. One time, I wore shorts on an ATV, and I immediately regretted it. Long pants will protect you from the spikey desert plants, too.

Everyone will have to wear helmets and goggles. Glasses must fit under goggles, so this may be a good day to pop in those contacts. For people with long hair, Best Tours ATV Las Vegas recommends low ponytails.

‘Tis the season for haunted houses in America. I love the spooky season, even though I’m more of a spring girl. I actually wish Halloween fell in the spring. But, fall is a good time for all things haunted. America has some incredible haunted attractions. Getting scared is definitely an American thing. So, what are the best haunted houses in America?

What’s neat about haunted houses is that they are popular across American, not just in one part of the country. In a sense, a love for Halloween and spooky things brings Americans together. Often, folks overseas haven’t celebrated Halloween much until recently, though. In fact, I was shocked to learn that my friends in Europe have never heard of or tried candy corn. What’s wrong with this world?

Even though Europeans may not be as familiar with Halloween, or at least the Europeans I know, it’s worth noting that Borley Rectory, in England, was widely considered the most haunted house in the world. “This particular rectory was built on the same site as a Cistercian priory perhaps several hundred years older in what is now Borley, Essex, United Kingdom,” according to Skeptoid.com. Is it still haunted today? Who really knows, right?

When it comes to haunted houses in America, different outlets have their favorite picks. I’ve decided to do some research and pick five must-see haunted attractions across the U.S. that I think you should visit this year. I picked a selection of haunted attractions geographically across the country, so hopefully you live near one. I would love to visit all of these at some point, but truth be told, I’m easily scared, so maybe I’m best to try kiddie haunted houses.
