All These Movie Sequels Are Coming Out In 2024
Dude, if you’re a movie buff and are dying to relive some old school characters. You’re in luck. 2024 is the year of the sequels.
Movie Sequels Dropping In 2024
“Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes” is coming out May 9, says fandango.com. Which I can’t help but think is more reality these days than science fiction. Have you seen that trailer? The CGI is trippy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtFI7SNtVpY
A Mad Max sequel is coming this May. Well, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is technically a prequel. But we’ll count it. Not sure how much I want to relive the pandemic, so I’m out on this one.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is coming in September. Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine Ohara reprise their roles from the 1988 hit. The storyline hasn’t been made public yet, but I have to admit the trailer is pretty epic.
The only thing better that I’ve seen is Catherine Ohara’s feelings on what people may think of the sequel. She told Entertainment Weekly that, “if people don’t like it, then f— them.” I mean, who doesn’t love that woman?

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die”, starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith is back! And why? I mean I thought everyone cancelled Will Smith? Or is it more like he needs to cancel Jada? Well, whatever it is, the cop buddy flick is making its way back to the silver screen in June, per screenrant.com.
And, speaking of old cop flicks, “Beverly Hills Cop Axel F” hits Netflix this July, netflix.com reports. Axel Foley is alive and well. And is much older. In fact, I have no idea how he manages to avoid all the bullets and walk away after crashing cars and busting through windows at his age, but hey, never question Hollywood. Here’s a glimpse.
And guess what else is back in December. “Karate Kid!” Yep. And, according to screenrant.com, everyone, including Ralph Macchio, will be in the new flick. Because, apparently, we don’t get enough of them on Netflix.
And there’s so many more on the way that aren’t technically sequels, but still bring old movies (or characters) back to the big screen. Everything from the “Twisters” remake to “Deadpool and Wolverine”. What is that anyway? Is it a love story? I don’t know, but it would be hot if it was.
All in all, if you love nostalgia and have compassion for Hollywood writers who can’t come up with their own movie ideas, enjoy the retreads. I mean sequels.
