Bread Making Classes Add New Flavor To LV Arts District
The Las Vegas Arts District has always been a place for people to explore their creativity. And a series of bread making classes is adding some new flavor to that pallet. 1228 Main in the LV Arts District has announced they’re extending their classes throughout the rest of the year. With different bread themes, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.

1228 Main is a cozy, laid back space in the LV Arts District. Serving guests pastries, freshly baked breads and coffee by day. They offer breakfast, lunch and brunch dishes. With favorites like Classic Quiche Lorraine, Croissants, and French Style Omelets. Locals especially love 1228 Main’s unique collection of pastries.
Then 1228 Main transforms into a bar and restaurant at night. Serving up specialty like the “Sabotage”. Made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Fresno agave, lime, and Topo Chico. Wines and craft beers are also on the drink menu. The food menu includes entrees like Grilled Salmon, Wagyu Smash Burger and the Heritage Pork Chop. Both the day and night menus bring the flavors and feel of California into this Nevada hotspot.
Details About The Bread Making Classes At 1228 Main
The bread making classes start August 7 and go twice a month through December 18, 2024. Different themes include Sourdough, Cherry Walnut, Epi & Baguette, Multi-Seed Rye and Focaccia. Guests of the classes will get to roll up their sleeves and bake along side 1228 Main’s Head Baker, Noel Rosello. Noel will even be available for questions during a Q&A session at every class.

Besides honing their bread making skills, guests will get to enjoy wine and light snacks during the class. Each participant will also receive a recipe card and small container of sourdough start to take home with them. The bread making classes cover every step of the process so guests will leave with a complete understanding of the craft. Not to mention a few extra, bread loving friends.
Classes are $60 per person and will be held every other Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m. at 1228 Main, located on the corner of Colorado Avenue. Reservations should be made in order to secure your spot. Happy baking!
