Taylor Swift Brings Her Famous Friends To Chiefs Game In NJ
Taylor Swift, Blake Livley, Ryan Reynolds, and hugh Jackman look on prior to the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on October 01, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
After her first appearance at Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce’s game last weekend, Taylor Swift again supported her new beau. This time, the “Anti-Hero” singer brought some of her famous pals along with her as Kansas City headed to the East Coast to face off against the New York Jets. On Sunday (October 1), the pop star arrived at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey with Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Queer Eye‘s Antoni Porowski, and even her younger brother, Austin Swift. This time, Swift wasn’t wearing Kansas City’s team colors and instead went for a black long-sleeve top, a matching jacket, denim shorts, and black knee-high boots.
The group watched the game from a luxury suite. Joining 33-year-old Swift later in the game was Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes. Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, was also in the same suite, getting cozy with Swift again, hugging and chatting. As we previously reported, Taylor and Travis were spotted leaving last week’s game together. Speaking about his rumored romance, which has been taking over pop culture and sports headlines on his podcast New Heights, Travis’ brother Jason brought up Swift. “We’ve been avoiding this subject out of respect for your personal life, but now we’ve gotta talk about it,” Jason said. He asked Travis to describe what his life has been like in recent weeks amid the dating rumors. Travis replied, “I’m on the rollercoaster, man. Rollercoaster of life. I’ve noticed a few things, yeah, like paparazzi outside my house. S— like that, for sure.”
The Super Bowl champ shared that Taylor got the stamp of approval from his friends and family who were with her at the game Kansas City last weekend, including his mom. “Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy,” he said. “I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her.” He added, “She looked amazing; everybody was talking about her in a great light.” Travis added that their “scripted day” went perfectly for Chiefs fans. “It was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure. And then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end.”
Who Will Play The Super Bowl Halftime Show In 2025?
The Super Bowl is not only the biggest event every year in the sporting world, but the Halftime Show is also the biggest entertainment event. Even though the Halftime show is under 15 minutes, it is talked about months in advance. And if the performance is successful, it’ll be talked about for years afterward. Only the biggest names in music have had the honor to grace the Super Bowl stage: Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Aerosmith, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Who, Prince, the Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Beyonce, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and The Weeknd, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and 50 Cent.
Last year’s Super Bowl LVII show took place in Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, and featured Rihanna. Fans who were hotly anticipating new music were given another surprise by the “Diamonds” singer. Debuting her pregnant belly, the artist’s performance wasn’t as electrifying as anticipated due to her inability to do any crazy choreography. The show’s elevated stages and backup dancers tried to compensate for that. As with any pop artist, people online were criticizing her choice of wardrobe and debated on whether or not she was pregnant, as she waited until after the show to confirm it. Though this wasn’t the comeback we wanted from Rihanna, it was still great to watch her perform for the first time in years.
For Super Bowl 2024, it has been announced that R&B superstar Usher will be heading the halftime show. Back in April, he told Access Hollywood that he “would be a fool to say no” to headline the Super Bowl, a “bucket list” dream of his. Usher has sold over 23 million albums and 38 million digital songs in the United States. With over 80 million records sold worldwide, the “There Goes My Baby” singer is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, and we cannot wait for his performance. But it’s never too early to discuss who might take the stage for Super Bowl LIX. Check out our top predictions below.
