If you’re looking to go to prison, even though you haven’t done anything wrong, the best thing to do is just walk into the prison and maybe ask for a tour. That’s not what this man from Pittsburgh did though. He chose the path most likely to land him in a prison cell.
Innocent? Here’s Not How To Get Into Pittsburgh Police’s Jail
Charles Felder is a 34-year-old man from Pittsburgh. Charles was arrested Saturday morning for trying to break INTO jail.
Felder really felt like he needed to get into the jail at four o’clock in the morning. Allegheny County Police Department said on Facebook they were alerted to a man who was attempting to break into the lobby of the jail. At around 7 a.m., police responded to the man breaking in and found him with minor injuries.
After investigation, they found that Felder used garbage cans as battering rams to get in. He also was seen on video surveillance kicking the doors in. He even went as far as breaking the handle off. Charles tried to get in for three hours before he exhausted himself and passed out.

He Finally Ended Up In Jail
After the police discovered Felder trying to break into the lobby of the jail, they called the paramedics. When paramedics arrived, Felder was not happy with their presence and started spitting in their faces, according to WPXI News.
He was taken to the local hospital to treat his minor injuries. Then Charles Felder got his wish, he was taken to jail. He faces charges of harassment and burglary, police said.
As for why he wanted to get into the jail lobby so badly is still unknown to us, but it’s also certain alcohol or possible drug use was involved.
