NW Las Vegas Will Soon Welcome Delicious New Mexican Restaurant
Northwest Las Vegas will soon welcome a new Mexican restaurant. There have been similar restaurants at this Centennial Hills address previously. But now, the brain trust behind the famous Sand Dollar Lounge is putting their love of Mexican food and delicious cocktails into this new venture.
New Mexican Restaurant Set To Open In July In Centennial Hills
Those who live in or near the Centennial Hills section of Northwest Las Vegas may be familiar with the address of 7585 Normal Rockwell Lane. Years ago, that venue housed Leticia’s Mexican Cocina. That area favorite now occupies a prime space inside Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.
After Leticia’s moved out, Cheecho’s opened up. That restaurant was well known for their sizzling fajitas.
Now, that building is being renovated by the folks who run the legendary Sand Dollar Lounge. According to an article by Janna Karel on Vegas.Eater.com, co-owners Anthony Jamison, Chase Gordon, and Nathan Grates, owner of the Sand Dollar, are very excited about their latest venture.
They’re naming it La Casa de Juliette Mexican Cocina. That’s quite a mouthful, but they have delicious plans for this restaurant. It is named after Jamison’s grandmother, Julie Castillo.
The Centennial Hills area does not offer a great many privately owned restaurants. Sure, there are plenty of restaurant chains to choose from, but this new Mexican restaurant promises to be something special.
Exciting Cocktail Menu Planned For New Mexican Restaurant
Here’s something incredible I learned from Karel’s article about this new Mexican restaurant with the long name. They’ve purchased $10,000 dollars in juicing machines! They plan to create some amazing cocktails featuring a tasty variety of freshly squeezed tropical juices. In fact, many of their cocktail recipes will be based on traditional Mexican, Central American, and even South American cocktails.
Of course, the new La Casa de Juliette Mexican Cocina will also be serving up what they call “bold yet unpretentious Mexican food.” Per the Vegas.Eater.com article, new chef Eduardo “Lalo” Saavedra plans to combine his classical French culinary training with the delicious recipes of the new Mexican restaurant’s namesake, Grandma Julie.
I can’t wait to see what these new owners have created. Now, feel free to scroll down for more content which may interest you.
