6 Reasons Why You’re Turned On By Promiscuous Women
Q: This week on The Cooper and Anthony Show, Robert called to ask why he is turned on by promiscuous women. He wondered if he had something wrong with him and asked Dr. Cooper to give insight into what this is about. You can listen (above) right now!
A: It’s no big mystery Robert. Promiscuous women have a high sex drive. They enjoy sex and they’re not ashamed to admit it. They basically have sex like men. Like… You know how gay men have more sex, because it’s two men with two male sex drives? A promiscuous woman is like the female equivalent of that for straight guys. A partner with an equal libido.
Promiscuous women are more in touch with their sexuality, they tend to be more open to trying new things, and are eager to please themselves and to please their partners. Overall, they have a super healthy relationship with sex.
They get that it’s a need and have no trouble asking for what they want sexually. A lot of men like promiscuous women because they don’t have to make the first move and they don’t have to wonder if those women are into them or not or what they want in bed.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND ATTRACTION AND PROMISCUITY
That being said, some theories and factors that might help explain why some men might be attracted to promiscuous women include:
- Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary standpoint, men may be instinctively attracted to women who are perceived as more sexually available, as this could increase their chances of passing on their genes. This concept is rooted in the idea that men are wired to seek out multiple partners to ensure their reproductive success.
- Variety and Novelty: Some individuals are naturally drawn to novelty and variety in their sexual experiences. Promiscuous behavior might be associated with a sense of excitement and newness, which can be appealing to some men.
- Social and Cultural Influences: Cultural norms and media representations can shape people’s preferences and perceptions of attractiveness. In some cultures or media portrayals, promiscuity might be depicted as desirable or glamorous, leading to its appeal for some individuals.
- Perceived Confidence and Desirability: Some men might associate promiscuity with confidence and desirability, assuming that a woman who is comfortable with her sexuality and has multiple partners must be highly attractive to others.
- Physical and Visual Cues: Visual cues such as revealing clothing or overtly sexual behavior might trigger arousal in some men, regardless of the underlying reasons for the behavior.
- Personal Experiences and Psychological Factors: Past experiences, personal fantasies, and psychological factors can also contribute to an individual’s attractions. For some men, promiscuity might be linked to particular fantasies or personal experiences that enhance arousal.
